I have been searching for a product that will add calories to my daughter's drinks/food. She has cerebral palsy as a result of a life threatening car accident she and I were in during pregnancy. The individual responsible walked away with not even a ticket!! (doesn't see fair) but now it is just a matter of helping her as much as possible. She has a difficult time keeping weight on and it has been even more difficult to find a product that adds calories without adding alot of "substance" to her drink and foods. She eats very little at a time. Someone let me try one of these "benecalorie" pouches, I added it to some yogurt and she ate the entire thing!! It was a grand total of 520 calories with the benecalorie. Needless to say, I was elated that she was able to eat it.....and keep it down!! ( she is taking meds for reflux as well) I am VERY excited to continue use of this product for my daughter and will write again once I have used what I have ordered. The individual that gave me a sample also has a child with cerebral palsy and reported to me that he went from 27 lbs to 31 lbs in about a month. I can't wait to see the results for my daughter!!!!!
